Eminem’s rap roots will be tied to the battle circuit. After showing his rap prowess in the 2002 film 8 Mile, Shady has collaborated with renowned music video director Joseph Kahn to produce an upcoming battle-rap comedy titled Bodied.
In spite of the makers staying tightlipped about the movie, Bodied will debut one month from now at the Toronto International Film Festival. The rap parody will essentially concentrate on race relations and will incorporate marquee underground acts, for example, Loaded Lux, Dizaster, Dumbfounded and Hollow Da Don.
Notwithstanding the stacked rap list, a bevy of Hollywood stars including Anthony Michael Hall, Debra Wilson, Charlamagne Tha God, Alter Perez, Rory Uphold, Jackie Long, Callum Worthy and Shoniqua Shanda will beauty the screen for Bodied.
Kahn built up the story with previous rap fight champ and screenwriter, Alex “Kid Twist” Larsen.
