Hillary Clinton became the first woman nominee for the presidential candidate by major party – The Democrats. The Democratic National Convention took place in PHILADELPHIA.
Bill Clinton said to her “This is really your victory. This is really your night.”
He told the crowd “And if there are any little girls out there who stayed up late to watch, let me just say I may become the first woman President. But one of you is next.”
Clinton said to her “the best darned change-maker I have ever known”. Clinton rejected the remarks of Donald Trump- A Republican Candidate about her that she is a symbol of status quo.
Clinton said while addressing the people “One is real, the other is made up. You just have to decide which is which, my fellow Americans, earlier today, you nominated the real one.”
The Chairman of Democratic party of Arkansas, Mr. Vince Insalaco stated that they have made a history by nominating the first woman for presidential candidate. He further said “I’m so proud to be a Democrat tonight, and so proud that we can call this woman one of our own.”
Ingrid Olson an otowan delegate said “I’m just not there yet in terms of supporting Hillary, because her words are only her words, and I don’t fully trust that she’ll act on our agenda,”
The count for Hillary Clinton was 2842 and for Mr. Sanders was 1865 and 56 votes were not counted.
Clinton objected the attitude of Mr. Trump, when he made fun of disabled reporter last year. Mr. Clinton said about Hillary Clinton “She never made fun of people with disabilities,”
Mrs. Clinton was appraised by women who had been running the campaign, they said that Mrs. Clinton personally heard their concerns about gun problems. Lucia McBath- A mother whose son Jordan Davis was cruelly shot after playing music in 2012. Mrs. Clinton said “We’re going to keep building a future where police officers and communities of color work together in mutual respect,”
At last, the images of each American president appeared in black and white on the screen. Mrs. Clinton said “If there are any little girls out there who stayed up late to watch, let me just say, I may become the first woman president, but one of you is next.”
