Lady Gaga’s ‘Million Reasons’ Tops Twitter Trending 140 Chart Following AMA Performance

Unshod and guitar close by, Lady Gaga cut down the house Sunday night at the 44th annual American Music Awards in Los Angeles as she played out her most recent single “Million Reasons.”

The song came to No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 continuous graph at 7 p.m. ET and remained the top tune overnight and in the morning for 11 hours in a row. The Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 outline measures the real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on Twitter.

Gaga’s performance was dissimilar to what we’ve seen from the vocalist starting late. Rather than an over-the-top execution like we saw amid her Dive Bar Tour, her execution Sunday night inconspicuously showcased her vocal ability.

“Million Reasons” is the second single off Lady Gaga’s collection Joanne, which appeared at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated Nov. 12. The tune is rising under the limit of the Pop Songs airplay graph dated Dec. 3, reflecting the tracking week ending Nov. 20.
