It can be fun to drink cocktails in the bar, but it can also add more fun if you make cocktails at home. Today we are rounding up some creative but unique cocktails recipes; keep reading to see that how you make them at home.
- 1½ ounces Tanqueray gin
- 1 ounce vodka
- ½ ounce Lillet Blanc
- 1 lemon
Step 1- Firstly Stir gin, Lillet Blanc and vodka in an ice-filled glass until very cold, around 30 seconds.
Step 2- Take a martini glass and strain cocktail through a Hawthorne strainer or a slotted spoon into it.
Step 2- Use a small serrated knife, remove a 1″ strip of peel from lemon; it should be stiff enough to provide some resistance when bent. Twist over drink to express oils; discard. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Chilled mulled wine Cocktail;
- 1L (4 cups) light red wine (such as pinot noir or tarrango)
- 55g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
- 1 vanilla pod, split
- 2 tablespoons Cointreau liqueur
- 1 orange, quartered, each quarter thinly sliced crossways
- 10 whole dried cloves
- 2 x 7cm cinnamon sticks
- 8 strawberries, hulled, washed, quartered Ice, to serve
Step 1- Over medium heat, in a medium saucepan combine wine, sugar, orange, cloves, cinnamon and vanilla. Stirring and Cook it for 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Take away the pan from heat. And set aside for 30 minutes to infuse.
Step 2- Put Cointreau to the wine mixture and mix to combine. Transfer to it into a jug and place in the fridge for 2 hours to cold.
Step 3- And then add strawberries to the wine mixture. Divide it among serving glasses and add ice cubes. Pour over mulled wine
