Who said a honeymoon has to involve two honeys?

005

Mobin and her husband Arsalaan Sever Butt had planned and paid for a celebratory trip to Greece, but when Butt didn’t receive his visa in time, Mobin jet-setted on her own. Well, actually, with her in-laws, so…RESPECT.

Mobin told BuzzFeed that she spent the first night crying on her mother-in-law’s shoulder, but thanks to her MIL’s advice, she decided to make the best of the rest of the trip. She traveled to all of the spots she and her hubby of seven months had planned to see together—but instead of snapping a bunch of selfies, she took melodramatic photos of her arm wrapped around an imaginary man.

It’s the same thing Mobin’s husband did when he was in Budapest alone after the couple got engaged. So, it’s basically their thing now.

We’d feel a tad sorry for this bride, but as it turns out, the trip was the traveling twosome’s second honeymoon. (We’re actually slightly jealous.)

Alas, the moral of the story: When traveling, many things can—and usually do—go wrong. The best thing you can do is go with the flow. Or go solo, honeymoon or not.
