Ted Cruz in Jimmy Kimmel Live: Gave a Hilarious Answer on “Who do you like better, President Obama or Donald Trump?”

Ted Cruz finally stopped by ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on March 30 to show us his funny side. He gave an amazing answer when asked which enemy he liked better, Donald Trump or President Barack Obama.

Ted Cruz, 45, took some time out of his hectic Republican presidential campaign against Donald Trump, 69, to get in some laughs with Jimmy Kimmel, 48. The host posed the question we all want to know: does Ted hate Donald Trump even more than President Barack Obama, 54, who he goes at with such cruel fury? You’ll never believe his comical answer.

“Who do you like better, President Obama or Donald Trump?” Jimmy asked Ted, who responded with, “I dislike Obama’s policies more, but Donald is a unique individual,” giving a knowing look that he entirely can’t stand The Donald. Then he made it obvious he would even run over him with a car if he had the chance!

“I will say, I was watching the early part of the show and if were in my car and getting ready to reverse, if I saw Donald in my back up camera, I’m not confident which pedal I’d push,” he exposed to loud applause.

Ted played it relaxed for the interview, in a light gray suit with no tie. Even his makeup was a lot less than he uses on the campaign trail. Jimmy joked with him about how hated he was within the party, but Ted laughed it off, explaining how former enemy Sen. Lindsay Graham, 60, is now holding his fundraisers and he said at one last week, “This is the first event I’ve ever had hosted by someone who three weeks ago publicly called for my murder.”

“So you held out until they (Republican Party) found someone they like less than you,” Jimmy said before Ted agreed and said, “There ya go, it is a powerful strategy and compared to Donald I’m the quiet, shy soft-spoken one.”

Jimmy laid into him about how Ted’s use of “disaster” seems like a strong a word to use to depict Obama care. “It’s not a disaster with millionaire Hollywood movie stars and rock stars,” Ted replied, inferring to Jimmy’s guests before the host asked, “Do yo these are the only people I hang around with?” They also had a discussion about Ted’s plan to have police patrol Muslim neighborhoods where Jimmy really let Ted have it.
