Miranda Kerr’s wedding dress to wedding Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel in May was truly fit for a fairy tale. The 34-year-old supermodel uncovers her shocking Dior Haute Couture outfit in the August issue of Vogue, looking ravishing for the cozy service held on the patio of the couple’s Brentwood, California, home. Kerr wore a since quite a while ago sleeved wedding dress specially designed by Dior imaginative executive Maria Grazia Chiuri, and a show-ceasing pearl-encrusted headpiece by milliner Stephen Jones.
And the newlyweds couldn’t look happier.
“Dress that fully covers you creates a sense of purity and mystery,” Kerr says of her gorgeous gown, which is inspired by Grace Kelly’s famous 1956 wedding dress to marry Prince Rainier of Monaco. “I’ve had a lot of fun with fashion, and I used to be more wild, free, bohemian. But in this period of my life, my style is more pulled back. My greatest sources of inspiration have always been Grace, Audrey Hepburn, and my grandmother, who at 80 has an effortless chic: a nice pant, a white blouse, a scarf, a little heel.” “Honestly, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress,” she includes.
Kerr shares that their wedding only consisted of 45 close friends and family. Kerr and 27-year-old Spiegel did yoga together in the morning to calm their nerves, and she cooked supper for her better half to-be that day – moderate broiled chicken scented with turmeric and lemon – while the food provider imitated her menu for their visitors. Kerr’s child with ex Orlando Bloom, 6-year-old Flynn, filled in as ring conveyor.
Kerr and Spiegel, who met at a Louis Vuitton dinner in 2014, announced their engagement last July.
